![]() Connie and Penny in the Red Flier Wagon. |
|
| This is Connie. She came to me with her hair all messy, a little dirty and with a hole in the fabric on her nose. She was wearing a white sailor dress with blue trim. I found this sailor dress at a consignment house on a china doll. It was in mint condition, hat, button and all. I think the red make her eyes look even more green. |
Can you see a hole in her nose now? Connie's favorite toy is her "BeeBee Bear". She couldn't say "Baby Bear". It just sort of came out "BeeBee". This comes from her favorite story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It doesnt seem to bother her a bit that Goldilocks has blonde hair and she has black hair. You can check out Connie on the store page modeling her red sneakers. She and Penny share the wagon very well. Right now she is my only dark haired girl. I am trying hard to remedy that.

This is my little Emily all cleaned up with her new outfit and pink tennis shoes. |
|
|
| Emily was not in such bad shape. She did need to be cleaned and her hair washed and reparted. It took almost 4 hours to redo the part in her hair. Her makeup is retouched and her little outfit is one of my designs. You can find this in the store. | Emily's favorite color is pink. She loves her pink bunny and won't go anywhere without it. She just calls him "Bunny". Her little tennis shoes have sparkle shoe strings and her hair has plastic white bows on her pony tail holders. Her favorite story is Peter Rabbit. She thinks he should be pink even though he is a boy bunny. I have to change the part where the Farmer almost gets him because it scares her. | |

Penny after |
![]() Penny and Pooh |
|
| This is Penny. I guess it is obvious I named her that because of her pretty copper hair. She came to me with her hair in one pony tail on the top of her head. When I took her clothes off I realized she had major scoleosis! So she had to have surgery to straighten her shoulders and get her head straight. Then I gave her a bath, washed her pretty hair and redid her part, her ponys and makeup. Her hair is the softest of all the girls I have. |
The dress she is wearing was the one Connie came to me
in. The blue trim is slightly faded but with her little blue tennis shoes
on it looks like denim trim. Her favorite toy is a little Pooh Bear. She also has Eeyore and now Roo! She loves Pooh stories and videos. That is her little Red Flyer wagon behind her. She shares very well with the other children. Her favorite color is blue. |

![]() Jordan's After Picture w/ purple bunny |
|
| This is precious Jordan. She had to go through some major surgery as well. She did not have a nose. I bid on her on ebay and did not win. But later the seller offered her to me again because the winner did not pay. YIPEE! I actually made her a nose out of polymer clay and covered it with flocking. One day she may have to have surgery again to get a real My Child nose. |
I am afraid I overdid her makeup. Her lashes are longer and her little lips are kissier. I also bathed her and redid her hair. It was a mess. It is the thickest hair of all the dolls. It was very straight so I curled it just a little.Jordan's little toy pictured here is a purple bunny... but she has since found a "Barkley" Sesamee Street dog toy that she loves to death. Which is good because her favorite colors are purple and orange. I wanted to put purple hair thingys in her hair but she wanted orange. It still matched her dress and her lip color so that was OK. She also wears her little purple socks and beige tennis shoes. Her dress is a reproduction My Child "Penny" dress. She wanted the bright purple and orange colors on the outside part so everyone could see them, instead of on the dress part that gets covered up. She hasn't found a favorite story but she LOVES to sing. She can sing two verses of "Jesus Loves Me" and she always sings the "me" part louder. |
